geminis Posted December 31, 2008 Share Posted December 31, 2008 Hi, i like to share a few tips i learn where try to install leopard in my mac mini. 1 - When i use "aluminum keyboard" from the mac mini it wass impossible start in single, or verbose or other way, not command-s, command-v etc .... nothing of thats works. After a few hours try with a "normal" windows keyboard and have full exit ...! 1-a: Command key: the command key is the "windows flag key" in a microsoft keyboard. 2-b: Option key: The option key is "alt key" in microsoft keyboard. 2 - If your CD/DVD stucks in cdrokm and you cant eject it, you will to see there is not "eject key" in microsoft keyboards, and sun will note thats aluminium keyboard special keys (read 1) does not work during boot process. Wath to do ???? 2-a: Easy and simple way, just keep pressed the mouse buttons (left and right at same time) and restart the mac, this will eject your cd. 3 - To install your ssystem, thats is my case, allwais select "english languaje during installation" other way the installer simply not finish. Maybe is better idea say wich key in wath pc. Regards.
