lemox
Hello, Insanelymac users ^^ I'm a french guy so be quiet with my english quality =D I just can't boot iDeneb 1.3 10.5.5.5 Mac OS X Leopard on my PC. The installation was done well, everything installed and no problems. But after showing iDeneb DVD boot (5 seconds), my computer reboots. And it reboots and never stops rebooting after this. So, I don't understand this very strange error =X My PC : - ASUS A8N5X motherboard - Nvidia Geforce 7950GT - 1Gb Ram, Twinx Corsair [2x512] - 250 Gb HDD First drive [iDE], 300 Gb HDD for stockage Have Anyone got an issue for this? realityiswhere
That's an AMD-based motherboard, instant reboots are usually kernel conflicts with the processor, which kernel did you choose to install? If you don't remember, I believe on iDeneb if you don't select a kernel to install that it will by default install the vanilla kernel, which is not compatible with an AMD and would definitely have this reboot issue! By the way, there is a French sub-forum if you're more comfortable in French http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showforum=95 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/143838-installation-complete-but-rebooting-and-looping-x/#findComment-1021162 Share on other sites
