ljuk Posted December 31, 2008 Share Posted December 31, 2008 Completely new to Mac OS so be gentle I have a Dell Vostro 200 PC with the following spec: North Bridge-Intel P35/G33/G31 Revision A2 South Bridge-Intel 82801IR (ICH9R) Revision A2 CPU Intel® Core2 Duo CPU E6550 @ 2.33GHz 256MB ATI Radeon X1300PRO HDD - 2x WDC WD2500JS-75NCB3 ATA (not sure what other info is relevant - please ask if more is needed PROBLEM: I have run an install of iDeneb 10.5.5 (yesterday) and Kalway 10.5.2 (several months ago) and on both installs the following happens: Install completes perfectly, seemingly no errors Newly installed OS X 10.5.x then requires reboot Upon 1st run I get the grey Apple logo and all appears fine until I receive a light blue screen, no mouse pointer, no audio, nothing Can someone please help here? I am completely new to Macs so any recommendations will require some explanation.
