UzY3L Posted December 31, 2008 Share Posted December 31, 2008 Hello.I have a weird problem installing Leopard on my system.It all goes smoothly,it boots into the GUI,I partition my hard drive with the tool from the DVD,it verifies the disc,copies the files onto my hard drive then,just when there are two minutes left,the GUI resets.The welcome screen re-appears over the install screen,then the install screen disappears,the mouse cursor disappears but the keyboard works.What's the problem? My system has the following : AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+,Asus M2VMX - SE,DDR2 Kingston memory module 1GB @ 667MHz,Ati Radeon X1550 (EAX1550).I have three hard drives,a 40GB Maxtor,an 80GB Maxtor and a 120GB Western Digital SATA drive.I've removed power from the 80GB Maxtor and the WD prior to installing Mac OS so the system had one HDD when I tried to install it.
