justvisiting Posted December 30, 2008 Share Posted December 30, 2008 Selecting a quartz/qtz screen saver in the "system preferences" -> "dock and screen saver" utility would cause it to crash. the problem lies in installing Safari 4 developers preview (august 2008) resolved by uninstalling Safari 4 OR upgrading to the december 29/2008 version of the safari 4 developer's preview. Leopard 10.5.6, osx86, nvidia 7600gs.
