babyjenniferLB
Hi im thinking of upgradeing my hackintosh celeron D 3.7 GHz to a pentium 4, well i noticed that my board supports the 662 a 3.6GHz part with EMT64T, HT, and VT. Well i was wondering if the VT in this chip would work, i know the core duos in the iMac and Macbookpro have there VT enabled alloweing a really fast exercution of windows XP under paraellels. My current problem is my celeron just dosnt seem to be cutting it, even with 1.75 GB of ram. i know i really sould replace my 256 chip for a 4th 512 stick to give me dual channel. but it still dosnt explain the poor preformance of my celeron D, but my friends pentium 4 3.2 GHz seems to do a lot better, runs everything pritty smooth compared to mine.
