Hello

I'm trying to get mac os x installed on my sony vgn-n31, i've tried both iAtkos and iDeneb, both install fine but on boot up, it gets to the screen where the gui is started (blue screen appears for a second), the screen goes blank for a second, then the screen appears as a series of gray and black lines which then fade into white on half the screen. I'm guessing this is a problem with the video drivers. I'm currently using iDeneb and i installed the intel GMA950 card drivers, did the same with iAtkos, same results.

I understand that the -x flag should disable full graphics mode, but i get the same problem (do i just need to use the -x flag, or do i need to type the device and kernal name to? e.g. '/dev/sda1 whateverthekernelis -x')

sorry if i've noobishly missed something obvious, any help is greatly appreciated as i want to try out os x before taking the plunge and buying a macbook :(

Played around a bit more, I've moved all the folders relating to AppleIntelGMA* out of the /System/Library/Extensions directory, this changed nothing, then i moved only the folders that relate to the 950 back into the folder, again, this had no effect on it's behavior, i still get a full screen of gray and black horisontal lines, followed by the left side of the screen fading to white. Mac OS X is running underneath, and i'm able to move through the initial setup dialogs using the on screen narrator. Is there some config file while tells the OS which kext files to use?

Any ideas or thoughts very welcome!
