Chanteur
I have been attempting to get leopard installed on my Compaq Presario C762NR Laptop computer. I have tried iATKOS 5i and iDeneb 1.3 Both seem to idle at approx 50%. Here is the link to my CPU-Z report file: http://tnfh.net/Misc/cpuz.htm I was woundering what method of install and customization options I should use. I plan on dual booting Vista and Leopard if I can. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/143421-best-installation-method/ Share on other sites

Chanteur
I got it to install when I went and did -v idlehalt=0 but then I forgot how to add vista back onto the MBR. Read somewhere that you go into vista and repair your vista partition to get it back but when I did that it never registered the vista OS. So I wiped everything and started again and now I cant get leopard back. lol, even by doing idlehalt=0. Think I need to write zeros instead of quick format. When I get home I will try that. If this doesnt work... getting a new HDD! And the DVD Drive is good as this is a freshly built laptop.
