jbardi Posted December 28, 2008 Share Posted December 28, 2008 Well, so far the earlier versions of the Atheros chipset are working, such as the Atheros AR5005G, but I have a Compaq CQ70-120US with the Atheros AR5009, and have not been able to get it to work with any of the workarounds and tutorials that have been successful on other Atheros chipset models. Everything on my laptop, including the built-in webcam, works perfectly, so the only major hurdles I have is getting the Wifi to work and higher resolutions than 1024x768 on the Intel GMA 4500MHD Graphics card. Any help on steps others have taken to get Atheros AR5009 Wifi to work would be greatly appreciated.
