I recently got an extra 40GB hard drive with nothing to do with it, So I don't want it to go to waste just sitting around so I figured I would give installing OSX another shot. I wanna know, what is the best custom version of OSX for my pc. I have tried leo4all 10.5.2, it gets to installing and then fails and says somethin about the contents of the mail package couldnt be read. Whats up with that? Any Help would be greatly appreciated, I really want to switch to OSX, I hate vista.

Ok making progress finally. I downloaded iatkos 5i 10.5.5, i got it installed the intro played i started filling out the stuff but when i got to the registration the computer shut off and restarted. I let it restart the the intro movie started playing again then stopped maybe half way through and a message popped up saying "you need to restart your computer. Hold down the power button for several seconds..... Blah blah blah" you guys know the message. Any idea what the problem is.
