staticwow
I had a working copy of OS X using Chameleon DFE and wanted to reinstall OS X. My problem is that I don't know how to reinstall OS X. The last time I did it with Chameleon installed, I just put the boot-disk in and booted off the default drive 9f and it worked. Now if I do that, it goes to the boot: prompt saying to press enter to start darwin, but when I do that, it goes back to the the prompt asking me which drive I would like to boot off of, 80, 81, 9f, etc. So the only way I can boot is directly off the hard drive. So is there a way of bypassing chameleon so that I can start all over again using the boot-cd? staticwow
Thanks for the reply! Or another reason might be trying to install OS X without the retail disk. I forgot to swap disks! D'oh!
