Heey pro boys and pro gurls,

I really need a push in the back here, I am damn well lost in this mess... And I want to ask you some questions to get this settled once and for all, first of all I'm 100% sure that Mac will work on my PC, I got it covered for 90% until it got shattered down again to about 10% :-P I will explain you guys where my mind starts wondering what is going wrong.

I am currently running on a "stable" Kalyway 1.5.0.2 version I downloaded from newsgroups. Worked after some tries of getting the right packages selected, but was all happy when I managed to get it start. After that I used PCwiz UInstaller (Thank you PCwiz!) I installed the Chameleon booter, set my native resolution to 1920x1200 and installed drivers for my gfx card (8800gt). Worked like a charm, now... I updated some programs using the Software Update... I updated it all except for 1.5.0.6 which is the current version. Then I installed my Audigy 2 drivers, which I got to work too... Now... I am a game designer and as you might guess fond of games, I'm addicted to World of Warcraft and I was all pleased to know that World of Warcraft works on Mac (yay!)... So I installed the first World of Warcraft, went perfectly... So thought... Well let's install an expansion. But then, all of a sudden there was this beautiful !!!Panic Attack!!! during the install... It shattered my dream into pieces so I thought... Well let's remove the other WoW, and let's start installing it all over maybe that helps... But now I got a Panic Attack during the first WoW cd too! It's killing me!

So here's a few things I wondered and know:

1. World of Warcraft seems to cause Mac to Panic ("HELP!!! HELP THIS USER IS INSTALLING A GAME ONE ME!!!")

2. Is it possible to kill this damn attack, maybe drug Mac bad ass so it won't panic so often?

3. Is it possible that I, the uber elite Windows pro, did something wrong with the installs?

4. Is it maybe better to update Mac OSX? In any way possible, I find it hard to believe that it would work to just use software update, but... My brother owns a Mac OSX 1.5.5 CD for his Macbook, so maybe I can create my own? Can you help me collecting the right packages cause some people are vague about the dope stuff they put in their little "(drug)packages". Maybe it's even possible to get me running on 1.5.6 (no problem getting that official cd too)

Here's some info about all off this {censored} I use to show my brother that a cheap PC can run just as good as a Mac Pro (PC ROCKS STICK THOSE MAC PIECE OF CRAPS UP YA ASS! IT'S FOR PEOPLE WHO DON'T KNOW ABOUT HARDWARE AND THINK THAT A PRETTY LOOKING MACHINE IS FASTER THAN A PRETTY LOOKING MACHINE WITH GOOD STUFF IN IT!!!)... Sorry...

I use:

Intel Core 2 Duo T6800 (2x 3.0Ghz) (Yes supports SSE3)

Abit IP35 Pro (Has SSE3 enabled and ACHI enabled)

Nvidia 8800GT 512mb PCie 16x (Surprise about the PCie!!!)

4x1Gb Geil Black Dragon DDR2 800Mhz FSB

Creative Audigy 2 ZS

2x150gig Western Digital SATA drives (one of them for Mac and one of them for Windows use)

2x160gig Maxtor IDE drives (backup drives)

Maybe you can advice me some kext packages I need to install to get this working better? I was thinking about creating my own DVD with Instahackintosh (Would love to get 1.5.6 working) And I'm planning on using x64 too since that is the only way to support my 4gb memory.

Hope you guys can help me out!

From Holland with love,

Me -xxx-
