Rosetta doesn't work

Hi there!

I have a problem with my osx86: every PPC program that i try to run immediatly crashes and tells me that "the application [application name] quit unexepectedly". For example in FileBuddy the report is:

I'm having the exact same problem on the very same hardware. Every PPC application crashes, apparently it's a rosetta problem. Any ideas how this could be resolved? I have a feeling that it's an AMD specific problem, but I'm not sure. I'd be glad if we could figure out what's going on here.

 

There are some pretty cool apps which are PPC only, and it's a pity some of us can't run them.

Update: this patch solved the problem for me.
