Hi gang. Maybe someone can help me out with this one.

I'm new at this and I tried everything I can think of.

After a successful install of ideneb 10.5.5 on my Dell 3000, everything works great (patched sound and ethernet).

But! My screen res is stuck at 1280x1024 and this is annoying. Not crucial, but annoying! I have an acer 22 inch monitor that I know will take a bigger resolution. But for now the only choice I have is 1280x1024 and I'm getting s-t-r-e-t-c-h world now.

Please let me know if anyone has any ideas. I'll take em! If you need any more info, let me know.

Best,

CT.

Hi, nintenno.

Thanks for getting back.

Yes. I meant Dell Dimension 3000.

I'm using the computer as it came from the factory. Which, I believe has an integrated graphics card (graphics and motherboard in one, of course). Would I need to buy a new graphics card for ideneb to work? If not, could you recommend any other installs that might suit that system better?

Thanks very much.

Thanks, nintenno!

That's good to know!

By the way, other than that card, is there a list around here of supported pci graphics cards I can choose from? Though I've heard that card was great.

Thanks, again, for your time.

Best,

CommanderT
