icyoli Posted December 26, 2008 Share Posted December 26, 2008 Hello I was following Hexidecimal's Guide (http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=88345) to installing iATKOSir2 on a Dell Vostro 1500 I cannot get past this point: "Next you are going to want to select your HFS+ Journaled partition and enable the Boot flag to make that drive bootable. Once this is done, you can close the disc utility, and reboot your system. Remove the GParted Live CD and you should be prompted with the darwin boot loader." I am not presented with the Darwin bootloader after marking the HFS+ partition with the boot flag. I just get the message: Missing operating system I am also unable to boot from the iATKOSir2 DVD; a black the white screen flashes then goes onto the "Missing operating system" message. I have been reading this fourm and think its an amazing hakintosh community!
