Well hell yes it's not going to install right if you don't customize the install. You HAVE to select some options, you won't even get SATA support without going through the options.

Why is it always newb's that get the latest and greatest toys? Never someone that has a clue..

From what I have read, you need to be in the installer and click customize to do this customization. I am unable to accomplish this. If you can customize without going into the graphical installer, please let me know what I should do.

 

FYI: Until now I was running a Intel P4 @ 3GHZ w/HT, 2GB DDR @ 400MHz, and an ATI Radeon X1650 AGP.

 

I do admit that I am a newb with installing MacOSX on a PC. ;)

I was saying that in the above posts... is there a way I can freeze it to see the last message before it trys to go into the graphical installer?

 

I wonder if anyone else has installed with an i7 or a Radeon 4870 yet? If so, please post here (along with your mobo model).
