Getintothegame
Hey all! Thanks for all your help over the past few weeks - I've been a lurker around and been meaning to post on here for a bit now. To be honest, I google something and only click on links coming back here when I need help. Anyway, I need help with something I can't figure out. I have a Gateway T-6330u and have almost EVERYTHING working on Leopard, minus the wireless card (more on that in a bit), but most importantly, shutting down. I can't get it to shut down without one of the two things happening: Either it will shut down partially - meaning the power lights and other indicators will still be on and I'll have to hold down the power button to truely shut it off, or else it will just give me a 'this computer needs to be restarted' darkened screen. Has anyone got any idea? The other issue which seems that cannot be fixed is that I have Atheros AR5B91 Wireless Network Adapter. I have already ordered a replacement, the Dell Broadcom 4311 card, but was wondering if I no longer need that part. Thank you again! (By the way, I'll make a how to guide on this laptop after I get these issues sorted!)
