gonintendo
I installed kalyway and everything works great except for the Ethernet. when I plug it in, the whole system just stops responding, can't move cursor, no caps lock or num lock, nothing. I need to reboot. I think the culprit is the nvidia driver. I first installed it without any nvidia drivers, and it worked great but my resolution was stuck at 1024*768*32. i installed the driver (nvinject) and got this problem. I tried reformating and reinstalling with the nvinject drivers on the disc, same thing. I then used the alternative nvidia drivers (cant remember name) same problem. My specs are celeron d 340 nvidia geforce 6200 256mm(the pci version NOT PCIE OR AGP) Intel 845GV with the Realtek RTL8100C lan 512 mb ram i am currently on the alternative drivers for it. what should I do? edit: should i buy this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...tgear%20Gigabit it is confirmed to work with osx86 (from the wiki) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/142813-help-osx86-kalyway-crashes-when-i-connect-ethernet-cable/ Share on other sites
