Barceeper
Well actually ive got the same problem. When the install says "18 minutes remaining". Ill try to minimize the packages needed to install. Maybe we need to pick up English as the default language. Because im Dutch i've chosen "Use Dutch as the default language" and while installing it says installing Mac OSX. So when i've chosen English i get Installing iDeneb 10.5.5. Ill keep you up to date if it works or when i got a solution for it. wazzamad
THE SOLUTION: USE DVD-R ! The +R makes bad reading install even with a perfect and verified burning!!! ~J~
Try burning at 1x or around 4 if possible. Nero works for me.....We have similar pc's in hardware manufacturers i mean, i got ideneb to work for me, but no drivers for internet.... also if you have messed with your bios i think that could be a problem...... It alll depends. Also it could be your HDD is giving the problem..... I had to load vista's recovery disk then format it from there, then use macs disk util and format as mac journaled.-Dont know exactly why.
