mikntwd
I've started to install iDeben 10.5.5 v.1.3 ISO. upon initial boot as to install, I'm facing a boot prompt like this: Press Enter to start up Darwin/x86 with no options, or you can: Type -v and press Enter to start up with diagnostic messages Type ? and press Enter to learn about advanced startup options boot: When I hit Enter by itself, it goes no further. If I type -v and press Enter, a quick screen appears bearing a statement similar to: "/Com.Apple.Boot.Slist not found" I'm running Dell Precision M65 dual core T7200 2Ghz Intel mobile chipset, 2GB RAM, SATA hard drive 80GB Feel free to provide some suggestions as what can be done to proceed further. Thanks! Mikntwd Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/142577-leopard-1055-ideben-boot-prompt/ Share on other sites
Lanceomni
Is your DVD drive set as Master via jumper on the drive itself? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/142577-leopard-1055-ideben-boot-prompt/#findComment-1011453 Share on other sites
mikntwd
I was able to get around the boot: prompt. However, after the Grey Apple Scree the blue iDeneb screen appears with a colorful round circle, mouse pointer. It just stays there on this screen " Then a Blue iDeneb screen will appear". Any other ideas? Thanks! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/142577-leopard-1055-ideben-boot-prompt/#findComment-1011523 Share on other sites
