FCK Posted December 23, 2008 Share Posted December 23, 2008 Hello everybody, I have some problems with OS X and my computer. I have two S-ATA HDD'S and a nForce chipset 520 in my Notebook. Install works fine, but AHCI is not enabledd and can not be enabled in my BIOS... So I got a "still waiting for root device"-error anytime. I tryed different distros dfor example: Leo4all v3, Kalyway 10.5.2 Intel_Amd, iAtkos 4 a. Is There any chance to get Mac OS X on my Notebook runnig? My Hardware: HP pavillion dv9764eg Prosessor: AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile TL-64 Chipset: NVIDIA nForce 520 rev. A3 BIOS-version: Phoenix F.27 HDD: 2x S-ATA á 160 GB Mainboard: Quanta 30DA AHCI: Not Enabled (can't be enabled) Thanks! Felix. Sevilio Posted December 27, 2008 Share Posted December 27, 2008 Im also had a problem with nVidia nForce 520 (MCP65S) chipset on a M2N-X Mother Board after instalation of iDeneb v1.3 Mac OS x 10.5.5 disto. i can use it in safe mode, but i don´t have Ethernet, USB ports, SATA Controller or Video drivers.
