Here is my hardware info: Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.40Ghz Motherboard: GA-965P-DS3 Northbridge: Intel P965 Express Chipset Southbridge: Intel ICH8 Marvel 8053 Gigabit LAN Controller GIGABYTE SATAII controller Realtek ALC883 8 Channel Audio Codec Graphics: PNY Nvidia GeForce 8800GT I installed iATKOS 5i Leopard 10.5.5 last night, and everything (audio, ethernet, dvd drive) worked fine except the Full Screen Resolution since my ATI x700 Pro card is not supported I guess. It was stuck at 1024X768. So I read couple of forums, and it said 8800GT works fine with Leopard 10.5.5. So today I went and bought an 8800GT. Now I am reinstalling iATKOS 5i Leopard 10.5.5. I dont even remember what options I checked last night for it to work because last night i was trying and trying different settings and one of them worked. Can anyone help me? Or is there a guide that I can read to get this to work? thanks alot! I'd really appreciate your suggestions and responses. Werewolf08 Posted December 23, 2008 Author Share Posted December 23, 2008 I actually got it to install. I updated to 10.5.6 and the update process went fine. Then i downloaded firefox, while it was mounting the dmg, i got a message: "You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button for several seconds or press the Restart button" what am I doing wrong?
