widescreen169
I have a Dell XPS m1530 with Leopard 10.5.2 using iAtkos 1 and Kalyway combo 2. I really would like to know how to stop my lappy from going to sleep when the lid is closed whilst it is on battery. The sleep command causes weird problems for me and I would like to carry my laptop around school while it is on but right now, it won't stay on with the lid shut and cable unplugged... Any sort of help would be well appreciated Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/142349-battery-lid-sleep-prevention-help/ Share on other sites
scorcho
Transporting a laptop that's on (with spinning HD platters) across campus with the lid closed is a guaranteed way to destroy your hard drive. If it's not working just turn it off.
