Paul Gleeson Posted December 22, 2008 Share Posted December 22, 2008 I currently have a very stable 10.5.5 system using EFI v8 as the bootloader. I have tried to upgrade to v9 using the bootloader from Netkas, or the UInstaller. Both end up in a system that does not boot at all. No messages or anything. Just a blank screen with a flashing cursor. Restoring v8 via OSX86Tools brings the system back to life. Any ideas? Do I have a corrupt copy?
