phylo
Please forgive my ignorance on this issue... When I installed OS X I had two gig nic's in the box, I have since removed one, but when I tail the syslog it shows that ifconfig is still trying to configure the device? How do I remove that device so taht I dont get these error messages any more? Im sure is something simple, but I just cant seem to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated. And yes I did search around this site and google... Phil OS X 10.5.6 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/142299-uninstalling-a-nic/ Share on other sites

Pecio
Open System Preferences, click Network, select the interface and, in the Configure dropbox, select Off, then click Apply.
