SA22C
After I installed 10.5.6, I encountered random freezes while on battery power. These freezes happen a few minutes after startup and cause a total lock of the system, rendering it non-responsive. The only way to reboot the machine is with the power button. These freezes only occur when the machine is on battery power. When it is plugged in, there are no crashes. The only way to solve this problem is to remove ACPIBattery (Or ACPIBatteryManager, which I've also tried.) This seems to solve the crashes, but also removes the battery meter from the tray area. Has anyone else run into this problem? What was your solution?
