wellokthen1
All, Like the subject line say--first $875 takes it. Everymac.com places the value of this machine at $950-1100--STOCK. I've got a boatload of extras/upgrades and am asking less. WHAT I HAVE: MacBook C2D 2.2GHz/4GB/120GB/SuperDrive (and a bit of warranty left, so you can still get AppleCare, if you want). Willing to throw in a variety of things that work well with it or must go with it. (Pics located at the URL, below.) (1) BodyGuardz protection on palm rest and trackpad since day-one $50.00 (+ $6.00 shipping) (2) Custom designed Speck "stained glass" top & bottom protectors $60.00 (+ $8.00 shipping) (3) iSkin keyboard protector $25.00 (+ $6.00 shipping) (4) iLap aluminum cooling stand, with original box $55.00 (+ $6.00 shipping) (5) 2x2GB Ram $300.00 from Apple (free shipping) Which cost me another $516.00 on top of the price of the MB. (Yes, of course I realize that I'm not going to get an additional $500; just pointing out the value of the extras.) WHAT I'D LIKE: CASH. Barring that: Something that can run Leopard (obviously). I have no complaints about the processing power of the MB--neither blew me away, nor frustrated me. So, something in that range would be okay. Not interested in going slower. The Graphics card is an issue--I'd like at least 256MB, 512 would be nice, but not necessary. Also, VGA/DVI/HDMI is necessary. And, I need it to play nice with the other macs in my network, e.g., file & screen sharing, etc. The more RAM, the better (ditto, I suppose, for the HDD), but that's not a deal-breaker. Probably too much to ask for, but I'd really appreciate a mini-tower or some such--the smaller, less PC looking, the better. I've noticed a few people selling theirs for $300-500US, and that's the price range I have in mind; but this not the value of my MB, so probably something else or some cash would be in order. I'm also really interested in a netbook, something that'll run Leopard. A combination of items is welcome. I have a bunch of things I can trade if the MB isn't of interest. Thanks! wellokthen1
Added the netbook request. Looks like no one here is interested--anyone have any ideas where else I might sell it? Really want to do this before the warranty runs out so that the buyer has the option to get AppleCare. (Yeah, I know about Craigslist.) Thanks! wellokthen1
If I threw in Apple Care, would that conjure interest? Is it the trade that's posing problems, or the price? Nobody likes/wants MBs anymore?
