Hi!

My motherboard is MSI Q35MDO V2 (MS-7358).

Direct link to BIOS file (v.8.2 2008-05-15):

http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=do...4&type=bios

My PC specs:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 1.86 (1066 FSB)

Chipset: Intel Q35

MB: MSI Q35MDO

RAM: 4GB DDR2 667 (4 x 1GB)

Graphic card: integrated Intel Q35 Express Chipset

I can install / boot MAC OS X 10.5 but only with "cpus=1" flag.

In Activity Monitor - I see: Total cores = 1

Thank You for Help !

I Have the same Motherboard the V2 version, everything works vanilla!!! So everything works out of the box! Nice only the network Intel 82562V-2 doesn't work. I have a tut on this on www.muzzle.nl , for a English tut ask for Jackieboy8. You need for a Snow this distro : SnowOSX Universal V3.5

Greats Jackieboy8 from the Dutch/Netherlands OSX86 crew

I also have an MSI MS-7358 v1.1, but cannot find a way to install any version of OS X on this hardware. Can anyone tell me what the difference between v1.1 and v2 of this board is or how to find out this info? From what I've read AHCI appears to crucial in being able to install OS X and v1.1 does not support this. Can v1.1 be upgraded?
