ganzhimself
Recently my Dell Inspiron 1525 Hackintosh has gone absolutely crazy. The hard drive is constantly being written to by something and I can't figure out what's going on. I thought maybe the Spotlight index may have been corrupt, so I dumped it and let it rebuild. It didn't fix the problem. In the Activity Monitor, I don't see anything using an obscene amount of CPU time, so I'm at a loss. At idle the disc is being constantly written to, about 18 kb/sec. Anyone have any ideas on where to start? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/142179-1055-hard-drive-constantly-being-accessed/ Share on other sites
