i am having trouble getting ideneb to boot from hdd. Someone told me to try changing kernels but im not sure if i am doing it right. It keeps saying loading mach_kernel even if i change it at the boot prompt. If i specify a kernel shouldn't it say it loading the specified one?

any help on the syntax of changing kernels at boot prompt would be helpful.

UPDATE: as i was getting frustrated as to why this was not working, i decided that i would explore the mac HDD through windows. As i explored the root of the drive i saw there were no other kernel files there. Perhaps i installed it incorrectly, i will try again and see if it makes a difference. I would like to know if someone who has a working install if there other kernels were installed to the root or somewhere else?
