For those people who want to experience a Mac but can not afford a Real Mac or want to have more advance hardware in the same price.

I want to buy a laptop (Perefrably a Dell or Lenovo or Acer) and convert it into a OSx86 by using BOOT-132 and 10.5.5 (Retail) So that I can update it with new releases of OS X

I want to have a Dedicated Graphics card and want WiFi , Expresscard, Bluetooth, Sound Card to work on OS X .

Can any body help me to find a Compatible Technical Specification.

Can I install my machine with a Windows XP, and then use boot132 and 10.5.5 (Retail) to load Leopard . After this is done can i load Windows vista using the BOOT CAMP on Leopard.

Somebody help me Please.

I find the search engine on this forum to be worthless. But google does a good job of searching it.. just type insanelymac before whatever you are looking for on google.. so in this case,

insanelymac best leopard dell laptop

would probably get you some good results, or at least, a dozen other people who started threads like this one.. :)

Wow Robert, you really are batting 1000 today. He said he wants to buy a laptop in the first line, and you go and recommend a desktop motherboard. Brilliant.

Thanks UnaClocker for your help.

Do you have any idea what is the difference between

Retail OSx Leopard DVD installer

and

Retail OSx Leopard 10.5.5 DVD

Are the same ?

Can i use Retail OSx Leopard 10.5.5 DVD with Boot 132 ?
