Wuahaha Posted April 6, 2006 Share Posted April 6, 2006 Hi I running 10.4.5 using this MYZ iso DVD. Mmm so far I can use ethernet for the Internet and singel core for stablility. But I can't seem to get my audio work. I'm using i945GM chipset (ICH7) and Sigmatel HD audio. I've tried to replace AppleHDA.kext and AppleAzaliaAudio.kext and I run sudo thing and rebooted. Still cannot detect the build-in audio from System profile. I've search all over the forum but I'm sure am I doing the right thing. Anyone can help me with this? Please thank you so much! Greta Van Macintosh Posted April 7, 2006 Share Posted April 7, 2006 I am interested in a similar Dell model E1505 with a Core Solo / GMA 950. The only thing stopping me is the lack of audio support for the Sigmatel HD 92XX. I have an Inspiron 6000, everything works perfect except the X300 Mobility (Quartz and Core, but 1024x768x32 only) If someone can get the sound working, the Dell E1505 should be THE choice for OSx86. My laptop's on-board speakers and jack has no output sound. I think mine isn't a Sigmatel 9220 is some other 922x series. AdamBeutler Posted March 16, 2007 Share Posted March 16, 2007 I have the Dell e1505 with 10.4.9 and I used the HDAPater 1.15 with the sigmatel 9200 Linux codec dump. If you get a kernel panic you need to try a different kernel like the DemonES kernel.
