Dyengle
Hi everyone. Before I build one I was hoping I get get some advice. I will be using the computer for music production. Thus, what is important to me is RAM. I am also on a budget. I want to get an ss3 motherboard. One with many slots is so I can keep upgrading it in the future. My goal is to have it OVER 8gb of RAM Memory eventually. I was lookin through new eggs and couldn't find many motherboards with more than 6 slots. Also, important question: What is the difference between a server motherboard and a regular one? Or a better question: will it matter in building my hackintosh? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks. -A noob PS: Info for anyone who has music knowledge: I will be running Reason 4.0 and ProTools so compatibility is a must. Compatibility with an M-Box is a must. Hoping that's not much of a problem. Thanx again. -Daniel Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/141774-building-a-hackintosh-need-help/ Share on other sites
