AHSF
Hi there! I'm trying to install Logic Studio 8 on my Hack #2 (see my signature). The problem is that when I lunch the installation program, it says that I must have a Quartz Extreme capable video card and at least 64Mb of VRAM. Actually, I have TWO 8600GTS with 256MB each, using 3 monitors. The Apple System Profiler shows me everything fine, except the Quartz Extreme. I'm afraid of installing another video driver because every one that I've tried - NVinject, GFX strings, EFI strings, etc. - crashed my system (I'm using NVkush.kext now). I opened the Logic Package (using Pacifist) and found the "bad guy": an application named "System Requirements.app". Inside it, there's a plist file named "minsys.plist", exactly the file that contais "BLOCK" commands for some requirements, such as QE capability, kind of CPU, etc... How can I just edit THIS FILE only?? Thanks in advance. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/141669-is-possible-to-edit-packages/ Share on other sites
