still cannot detect ide hard drive

Hello all,

I recently posted about Kalyway 10.5.2 not being able to detect my one IDE hard drive, and it was suggested that I try Ideneb 1.3 10.5.5. So, I did so and yet again it can detect both SATA hard drives but not the IDE. Does anyone have any ideas? Here are the specs:

Asus P4P800-E(ich 5r)

Pentium 4 3.2Ghz

1 MAXTOR 40 gb IDE hard drive

2 SATA's that can both be seen
