corolldx
Finally got a Kalyway to find my root device... Also, I formatted 60GB as a FAT32 and set its ID to AF (HFS+), but the partition is still in FAT32, as I can read and write folders to it in Windows. It loads everything ok, as far as I can tell, but it just stops doing everything after it says "NTFS Volume Name: Version 3.1". I'm able to type stuff in, but its not like a command prompt... I have attached a screenshot of what is happening below: http://www.mediafire.com/imageview.php?qui...gyl&thumb=4 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/141599-stops-after-ntfs-volume-name/ Share on other sites
corolldx
Also, formatted the entire hard drive as HFS+ and it still hangs after a point (it doesnt load the NTFS stuff). If the ethernet cable is plugged in, it just stops after the ethernet address is configured... Madique
No solution yet? Got two HD's. 1 - NTFS, 2 - HFS+. Tried unplugging the first one, system says "still waiting...". Safe mode works. Installed XxX 10.5.6 - worked fine, updated with iDenebCombo 10.5.7 - problems began. My specs: Asus P4B533, Pentium 4 1,5, DDR 512, FX 5200, CMI8738, Realtek 8139, IDE NTFS 160GB, IDE HFS+ 40GB. AnV 9.6.0. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/141599-stops-after-ntfs-volume-name/#findComment-1252411 Share on other sites
