ace_ventura Posted December 17, 2008 Share Posted December 17, 2008 so i installed 10.5.2 kallyway on my hp compaq 6710b laptop and it gets to teh Welcome screen i click USA then US keyboard then on the screen where it asks you if you want to transfer from another mac or not i choose do not transfer at this time, click continue it hangs then it plays that welcome video again and the process starts right over again, with Welcome etc. whats going on here? newbe mac Posted December 18, 2008 Share Posted December 18, 2008 I have the same problem on my first install you can google the problem. I remember vaguely that is a string you have to change. when boot up you have to use some options and manually delete a line/stringvalue, and you can boot with a charm. good luck!
