no keyboard / trackpad after iAtkos 5i 10.5.5 -> 10.5.6 update on Acer Aspire One

Hey there, anybody here with an idea how to fix this issue?

 

I read somewhere that it would sometimes be temporarily neccessary to use an external mouse & keyboard to do some maintenance on this issue, but i cannot find that article anymore and have no idea how to solve this.... ?!?!!

got the same problem when I updated to 10.5.6 on my Acer Aspire 4715z

also with ideneb v1.3. When upgrading from 10.5.5 to 10.5.6 after reboot don't have keyboard and trackpad. Have news about this ?!? Please help me !!! Now i can't use my hackintosh... I'm very very sad.

i was having the same problem.when i replaced this 2 kexts after that keyboard and mouse got detected ..

My question is, how do i install them using kextHelper, cuz i cant use my keyboard, trackpad.. and for some amazing reason exclusively to me, my USB ports arent seem to be working,.. Cannot use external USB mouse!!

 

Can i do this kext install after installing the Combo Update but before restarting? thats probably the only way until i looose the control!

This may seem like a dumb question since no one's mentioned it before, but how do you get past "There isn't a keyboard connected...", if rebooting, the USB keyboard still isn't recognized?

having same issue, says no keyboard and to plug one in, working on a laptop and dont have any usb keyboards or mouse.

 

i have read about installing the kext as mentioned above but how do i install this if it is unresponsive due to "lack of keyboard"

 

strangely tho keyboard and mouse worked fine while installing

hi, are those files "general" or only for acer aspires? coz I have the same problem (no trackpad/keyboard) but with my toshiba a205-s4777 (usb ones work fine tho, but kills the purpose of a laptop lol)
