cizko
Hey there, anybody here with an idea how to fix this issue? I read somewhere that it would sometimes be temporarily neccessary to use an external mouse & keyboard to do some maintenance on this issue, but i cannot find that article anymore and have no idea how to solve this.... ?!?!! tnx in advance! cheers, cizko Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/141504-no-keyboard-trackpad-after-iatkos-5i-1055-1056-update-on-acer-aspire-one/ Share on other sites

socialtopher
Hello all, @Anunnaki, would you mind posting the kexts again? The file link to senduit has expired. Also, do I need to repair file permissions or do anything else after copying these kexts into the Extensions folder? mraheels
hey, got a question, you say installing this would make the keyboard and tracpad work! My question is, how do i install them using kextHelper, cuz i cant use my keyboard, trackpad.. and for some amazing reason exclusively to me, my USB ports arent seem to be working,.. Cannot use external USB mouse!! Can i do this kext install after installing the Combo Update but before restarting? thats probably the only way until i looose the control! Hozey
same problem =/ This may seem like a dumb question since no one's mentioned it before, but how do you get past "There isn't a keyboard connected...", if rebooting, the USB keyboard still isn't recognized?
