DuBmastah Posted December 17, 2008 Share Posted December 17, 2008 lo there :-) i had to flash the bios of my asus A7SN laptop with the VERY usefull Kabyl modded version to get osx86 install working (ideneb v1.3). after a couple (or more) long nights, everything almost works perfectly, whith a smooth dual boot (yeeee-ha). but, everytime i boot on windows, xp try to re-install the 2 IDE standart drivers as the controllers are not recognized anymore ! well, i don't care too much as everything seems to work ok, but i'm just fade up waiting to cancel the two new installations it's just not able to do by itself. any solution would be greatly appreciated :-) DuBmastah Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/141479-after-modded-bios-flashing-standart-ide-controllers-not-recognised-anymore-in-win-xp/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

ever dying Posted January 22, 2009 Share Posted January 22, 2009 You guys should be carefull with using that bios mod.. My entire motherboard had to be replaced because of a bad flash.. Have a A7SN too so..
