Bartboy919
I have recently been saving money for a Vista machine and wanted OSX running on it. but now that this new Boot camp came out I may buy a Mac. although I will lose my custimazation I think It will be better over all to have Vista and OSX running natively. I just want to know...would a DX 10 game run on it. although I know this is kinda early for DX 10 questions I will be the deciding factor. and would the cards inside of the macs run DX 10 API? If this is not the case I was thinking of buying: AMD FX-60 or whatever they have out at the current time Gigabyte SLI board DX 10 Nvidea card Hybrid SATA II 200 GB hard drive Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/14142-dx-10-on-mac/ Share on other sites
Gangis
The card on a iMac is a Radeon x1600 which is certified Vista-compatible. Same card's in the MacBook Pro. I don't know about the Mac Mini, though. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/14142-dx-10-on-mac/#findComment-90278 Share on other sites
theamazingxemo
I'd hold out until we start seeing DX10 video cards. We could see a next gen apple computer with a newer radeon in it.
