Dan Poole
Hi guys. Just a quick question. On lifehacker (http://lifehacker.com/software/hack-attack/build-a-hackintosh-mac-for-under-800-321913.php) he says when your editing the 9a581PostPatch.sh file to make it look like this: PATCH="/Volumes/LeopardPatch/leopatch/" # path to the patched extensions LEO="/Volumes/Leopard" # path to Leopard installation My question is, do you include the part that says # path to the patched extensions? This may be a stupid question... And also, on Brazilmac's guide (http://forum.osx86scene.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=2008) He writes: Now Type “cd desktop" in the terminal window and hit enter. How do I type those weird characters, and is that a mistake on my part, ie. my text configuration is wrong and I can't see the real characters? The attached file is what mine looks like...please help me!! cat_7
Those lines after # are just comments for your convenience. No need to type them. And it says "cd desktop" The characters on that page are garbled on my machine too.
