anon_pcc
Hi guys, I was trying to get my sound card working using OSX 10.5.5 (iAtkos) with no good results for at least 5 days. I tried Taruga, Azalia etc etc. But now I know how to fix it and get the sound working. DOWNGRADE your Bios to some old version (2.02 works fine). Go to this page http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-67008.html and download the version 2.02 at the end of page. In Windows, flash your bios to the version 2.02. After that reboot in your osx86 and.... YOUR SOUND WILL BE WORKING. After this you can upgrade your bios again to the newest version and your sound will be working fine. Ok, this will result in a problem: your USB drivers (harddisks and pendrivers) will unplug without any alert or command from you. So, you will not be able to get USB stickies and harddisks working all the time. You will be able to use pendrivers and hardisks, but just to copy from\to files. Please, let me know about this tip and, if someone knows how to fix the USB problem, please advise.
