YuriPav
Hi there! (Im new at this so forgive me if Ive written anything obviously stupid) Im in the process of building my first Hackintosh which consists of: gigabyte ga-g31m-sl2 motherboard gigabyte 9500GT 512mb pcie graphics Intel Core 2 duo e7300 cpu Seagate Barracuda 250 gb hdd SATA Liteon DVD RW SATA. Ideneb v1.3 (10.5.5) Vanilla kernel 9.5 Im pretty happy so far in that Ive successfully installed ideneb (after taking a good 5 hours to figure out that I needed to set the disk partition to MBR) and it appears very stable. After several hours of scratching my head ive got my 9500GT fully operational (both dvi ports at 1280 x 1024) :censored2: What I need help with now is the following: Acl622 audio. I selected the driver during the install, no joy. Then tried Applehdapatcher and txt file...also no joy Has anyone had any luck with this? Onboard LAN Its a Realtek 8111/8168 chipset and I cant get it to work. I tried the R1000 kext and it did nothing, always get the "Cable not connected" prompt (I believe there is 8111 support in Ideneb 1.1 is there any way to get the kexts seperately and use them on 1.3 without downloading the entire package!!! Finally I bought a generic firewire PCI card with a VIA vt6306 chipset on it, The system profiler recognises the bus but doesnt see anything connected to it. (It also doesnt see any attached PCI cards)... Any ideas? I think I might go and but a texas instruments chipset one instead!
