mrjibbos
Running windows vista home premiumĀ on my Compaq Presario C700-EM. Any the DVD I burned with iATKOS 5 on it runs fine without a hitch. However it is when I get to the install screen is when I get my problems. The screen that says something along the lines of Where Would You Like To Install Leopard? shows no hard drives just the CD shows up. I want to be able to create another partition in windows vista so I can install and have Leopard and Windows running side by side. Please Help! What do I need to do to make the hard drive appear on the install screen and how can I dual boot windows vista and leopard without re-installing windows vista as I have no recovery disk! Please Help I Need Leopard! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/141299-iatkos-5-help/ Share on other sites
stylem78
you must go to partition manager erase the partitution an rename it to osx. Then you must customize your installation with your needs then go to installation, and there are what you want. sorry abour my bad english Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/141299-iatkos-5-help/#findComment-1001490 Share on other sites
Dr. Hurt
OK, If you already have a partition ready OS X, open disk utility on OS X DVD and select the partition and erase it as HFS journaled. If you don't have an empty partition, use a partition editor (partition magic or gparted) to resize your windows partition and create a partition for OS X which you'll also have to erase using OS X disk utility.
