dimab
Forgive for the noob post - I've read all the guides, and still trouble in paradise - Kalyway 10.5.1 install perfect. Video card detected as nvidia (I have a GeForce 7950 GT), but won't show higher resoultion than 1024x768 Attempted some kext installs, got the NVdarwin Installer 1.2.5. and selected my card in 512MB flavor. Now it hangs on boot up. Just goes to a blue screen with 2 mouse pointers stuck in a light gray outline. Once i boot into safe mode with -x my resolution is now 1280x1024 and runs awesome. What am I missing? I've tried to switch drivers using the NVdarwin to the 256MB version, same result. I performed the steps outlined to remove the drivers and still blue screen hung on boot. again, safe mode gets me the right resolution and runs great.
