Lyuse
I am very new at this whole thing I've been dual booting vista and ubuntu for the last year and I though lets try something new. I downloaded iAtkos 5i 10.5.5 DVD for Intel to give my first try at Leopard on my pc. I'll post my specs from cpu-z and gpu-z here if any of you want to help me out I booted iAtkos from the BIOS and I saw the grey apple screen and it kept loading and loading and then there was a stop sign on the apple and that went on and on so I ultimately stopped and shut down my pc. after some info on the internet I tried F8 and got the Darwin boot menu thing I typed two commands: "platform=x86pc -legacy -v" and "cpu=1" cpu=1 did nothing it just went to the same grey apple screen and "platform=x86pc -legacy -v" had a lot of text and then kept repeating "still searching for root device" if anyone of you could help me out I would gladly appreciate it. cpu-z gpu-z Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/141129-big-noob-here/ Share on other sites
