ABIT IL9Pro & iDeneb 10.5.5

I created this topic to share my success or failure on installing iDeneb 10.5.5 on ABIT IL9Pro based machine.

 

I installed successfully Kalyway 10.5.2 on ABIT IL9Pro.But i have unsupported video card ATI HD 3450. There is no working driver for ATI HD 3450 yet. In iATKOS 5i installation, there are options for ATI HD 3400 series, but dint worked for me. Hopefully will be available soon ATI HD 3400 drivers, but I decided already to change my video card. I will try Club 3D nVidia GeForce 7200GS 256MB now. I will get it today night and try installation again then.

 

I tried to install iATKOS 5i to on my ABIT IL9Pro machine, but no success yet. If someone has suggestions, how to install iATKOS 5i on ABIT IL9Pro, please let me know.

 

About iDeneb 10.5.5 on ABIT IL9Pro.

 

As I wanted Mac OS X 10.5.5, then I got the iDeneb 1.3 distro.

 

I tried several installation configurations before actual success. Installation was always successful, but OS X didn't boot up, I got message "Using * buffer headers and * cluster IO buffer headers" and machine freeze.

 

After googling I figured out, that the same happened to the many before me… And also I found a advice to install all fixes and also X11. This solution worked for me.

 

I couldn't get the audio to work. I will try to change drivers..

I managed to upgrade my iDebeb v1.3 10.5.5 based Hackintosh to 10.5.6

 

I used instructions of hackinjosh Update iDeneb 10.5.5 to 10.5.6

 

I still have minor issues left but system is working and is stable.
