warmonked Posted December 15, 2008 Share Posted December 15, 2008 Howdy, I'm wondering if anyone has a solution to my problem. I wasn't able to find anything with search. Basically, if my network connection is inactive for some amount of time (I don't have an exact time), my connection is dropped. The connection in my Network settings preferences, shows as yellow and No IP with status: Unknown. I can restore the connection by setting to configure option to "Off" then back to "Using DHCP." I'm using my mobo's (GA-EG31M-S2) ethernet port to my Linksys WRT54G router. I didn't install any additional drivers beyond what was on the Kalway 10.5.2 install. Has anyone seen this problem before, and even better, have a solution? Thanks.
