Pokopo
I successfully upgraded to iatkos 5 but my regular user account which was the admin now shows as a standard account. How can I restore admin access? Thanks. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/141018-iatkos-5-admin-account-issue/ Share on other sites

JohnGalt123
I solved it! Boot with the iAtkos DVD again, and in the install menu (top bar) you have a magical utility called "Reset Password"... from there you can choose the root user and set your new password.
