iNoob
I installed pc_efi v9 in my laptop, all went OK, so I rebooted it. Prevously I had a hibernation image, and it hung after starting from it. So I forced reboot it. It came with weird "Can't find /com.apple.S/Library/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist" errors. I was still able to press F8 and go to Windows. After booting with a 10.5.2 disk, I found out that the catalog file was damaged and the leaf count was invalid. Catalog file rebuilds all failed. What can I do? It was running 10.5.5 and vanilla kernel. This was the first time it happened. iNoob
I formatted the disk anyway so I don't worry anymore about it. ppg
I formatted the disk anyway so I don't worry anymore about it. Same situation here. I've got "Runtime corruption....", and fall into loops of login. Remember, do not perform kext modification/patch while in sleep/hibernation mode. Shutdown and then reboot with -nowake. cheers Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/140997-file-corruption-after-forced-shutdown-after-resume-from-previous-state-hang/#findComment-1003903 Share on other sites
